Handbag designer Cynthia Holvey, known for creating exquisite leather handbags, sat down on 7/7/07 to watch Al Gore's Live Earth concert and suddenly got inspired. What was her role in the conservation effort? She got out her sketch book and began designing a new eco-friendly bag.
The Ecotote is comprised of 100% organic cotton and 100% recycled ink and is proudly made in the USA. The imprint on the bag echoes the inspirational words uttered by Al Gore - "Make A Difference." The bags come in either black with a cream imprint or natural with a brown imprint.
"I'm so proud of this handbag. It's a great everyday bag or can be used for shopping. I was so inspired by Live Earth - the world coming together all to protect the environment -- and I thought this was my chance to make a difference," Holvey says.
